Dress as your favourite character, enjoy incredible company, and celebrate the magic of stories with fellow readers.

Is this a women-only event? Can I bring my partner?
This is not a women-only event. We absolutely encourage you to celebrate with your partner or significant other—everyone is welcome at the Ball, regardless of gender. Bring your book-loving bestie, spouse, or date and enjoy the evening together!

What should I wear?
Dress to impress! The theme is Heroes & Villains, so come as your favourite character—glamorous, evil, noble, or somewhere in between. Think gowns, suits, capes, crowns, masks—whatever makes you feel fabulous and in-character.

Is there a dress code?
Costumes are highly encouraged, but not required. Formal or cocktail attire is also perfectly suitable if you'd prefer a more traditional look. We just want you to feel amazing and enjoy the night.

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another guest if you can no longer attend. Just reach out to us to update the name on the ticket.

Will there be food and drinks?
Yes! The evening includes a delicious meal, dessert, and drinks. There’ll be a bar available for additional purchases.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

Absolutely! We cater to all dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergies. Just let us know your needs when booking and we’ll make sure you're well looked after.

Are there group booking options?
Yes—if you’re attending with a group, let us know! We’ll do our best to seat you together or near one another. Just add a note at checkout or contact us after booking.

Can I come solo?
Absolutely! Many guests attend solo and leave with lifelong book friends. We'll make sure there's a warm, inclusive atmosphere for everyone.

Is there an age restriction?
This event is 18+ due to the venue and the presence of alcohol.

Do you provide tables / set up for Bookish Vendors?

No, vendors are required to bring their own set-up. Each vendor may bring one trestle table and any display items they need for their stall.
